Scarlett Rouge

Born in Los Angeles (1981) and raised in Lyon, France, she began performing on stage at age four in the Visiting Kids, and in alternative theatre and art films.

In 2002 she graduated with a BFA from Calarts; her art has shown at Track 16, Antebellum Gallery, and she has produced several group shows. She has also participated in art happenings, namely The Square Root of Two, by Richard Newton. A singer for various types of music, she recently recorded a Jazz Cabaret album Scenes of Passion with the extraordinary 84yr old Phyllis Sues.

An actress and dancer as well, she preformed at LA's Evidence Room theatre in Cringe by Peter J. Nieves and the 99cents Christmas Show by Ken Roth.
In 2006, she stared in Birdlove, a short-film by artist Uma Sanasaryan.
As a model she worked with photographers Joel-Peter Wilkins and Rick Castro,  and designers Rick Owens and MarcoMarco.
